no yeast pizza dough

Saturday night was pizza night when we were growing up. This recipe makes dough for 2 - 12" pies. This is easy to make but one thing my mum couldn't make. She loved to eat it though.

Pizza Dough
2 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
3/4 c milk
1/3 c oil

Mix the ingredients in a bowl until a dough forms. Divide in two. Roll or stretch into a 12" pie and lay on the pizza sheet. Pile on toppings. Bake at 325 deg F for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

The toppings we used growing up were:
1/4 lb. mozzarella cheese
2 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
pepperoni
2 tsp oregano
salt and pepper
cayenne
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
4 tbsp corn oil
Thinly slice the mozarella and lay the cheese slices all over the rolled out pizza dough. Cover with the tomatoes, pepperoni and season with the oregano, salt, pepper and cayenne. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the top and drizzle the corn oil over everything. Bake.

Note: this recipe card is almost dark brown compared the the light cream colour of the others. Clearly this recipe was used A LOT.
