Cheese Olives

Cheese Olives

I love these but have never made them myself, despite the container of Imperial Cheese lurking in my fridge.

1/4 lb. butter
2 c. sharp cheese (Imperial Cheese box for eg)
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cayenne
1 c. sifted flour
50 small green stuffed olives


Soften butter and blend with cheese and other ingredients. Mix well and mold 1 tsp of batter around each olive, covering well. Place on a baking sheet. Chill until firm.
Bake at 450ยบ for 15 minutes. You can freeze these either unbaked or baked. Serve well heated.
